Rolling out a “premier brand” this operator / developer desired to upgrade the look from their typical skilled nursing and assisted living prototype. The Retreat was designed to capture the indigenous culture of Beaufort, SC while creating a more inviting experience for family and guests. Well placed elegant murals were utilized to depict the local landscape, provide wayfinding markers and create conversation opportunities. The addition of bistro lounges at the front entry, double as overflow marketing space while providing refreshments to guests and AL residents.
