A branding opportunity for a medical practice catering to women; compassionate care for every stage of a womans life presented itself in this 7,000 square foot build-out for Highlands Physicians for Women. Beyond the typical Obstetrics and Gynecology suite requirements, the program called for an aesthetics area that would become the center for the groups anti-aging specialty practice. A feminine scheme with an upscale flavor, the agave and hyacinth hues predominate against the pickled oak and contemporary iron details of furnishings and architectural details. A barrel vault ceiling wrapped in sky blue allows even the nurses corridor to feel the freshness of a new morning. The Vision Groups addition of a ceiling coffer and decorative chandelier at the lobby entry provide a residential touch and highlight a predominant element in a waiting room, the ceiling.
